The Jobs and Economic Restoration Initiative (JERI) is a federal-provincial cost-shared program designed to help restore economic activity to pre-flood levels and to prevent permanent job loss in flood-affected areas in the west regions of Canada. It addresses the special challenges facing small businesses, farms and non-profit organizations hardest hit by the 1997 flood. Western Economic Diversification Canada administered the initiative.

L'Initiative de rétablissement de l'économie et des emplois (IREE) est un programme fédéral-provincial à frais partagés conçu pour aider à rétablir, dans l'ouest du pays, l'activité économique aux niveaux existants avant l'inondation et à prévenir les pertes d'emplois permanentes dans les régions touchées par l'inondation. Elle vise tout particulièrement les petites entreprises, les exploitations agricoles et les organisations sans but lucratif qui ont été le plus durement touchées par l'inondation de 1997. Cette initiative est administrée au niveau fédéral par Diversification de l'économie de l'Ouest Canada.
